The British Columbia Hockey Conference is proud to welcome Recycle BC as the Official Recycling Partner of the BCHC for the upcoming Junior A season.
The multi-year partnership will bring Recycle BC’s educational, informative and inspiring recycling messaging directly to fans, families and athletes through arena activations, in-game fan engagement, athlete-led content and digital promotion.
Select BCHC communities will host Recycle BC activations during the early part of the regular season, with specific dates and locations to be announced closer to the events.
Meeting Communities Where They Are
BCHC teams are deeply rooted in their local communities, and game nights are already a hub for families and fans across the province. This partnership gives Recycle BC a meaningful opportunity to connect with those audiences in a fun, visible and community-based setting, adding value to BCHC game nights beyond the action on the ice.
What Fans Can Expect
At each tour stop, Recycle BC’s street team will be on-site in the arena parking lot before puck drop, with recycling information, take-home materials, and fun activities. Fans can also look forward to on-ice activations during game intermissions, giveaways, and family-friendly activities tied to local packaging and paper recycling education. BCHC players will be part of the experience as well, participating in pregame activities and athlete-led content videos that connect recycling to their home communities.
A Natural Fit
The BCHC has always believed that Junior A hockey is about more than the game. Partnerships like this one reflect the league’s commitment to strengthening the communities that support it – and to giving fans, families, and young athletes a reason to be proud of what happens both on and off the ice.
