About the BCHC

In April 2026, the British Columbia Hockey Conference was launched as the Hockey Canada and BC Hockey-sanctioned Junior A league in the province of British Columbia.

Consisting of 22 teams, the BCHC was created to offer B.C. athletes with the opportunity to play sanctioned Junior A hockey in their home province and compete for the Centennial Cup, Canada’s national Junior A championship. The BCHC is currently navigating the application process to become a member of the Canadian Junior Hockey League.

Our league and members compete under the Western Canadian Development Model in partnership with the Western Hockey League and the Hockey Canada branches and Junior A leagues from Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
